The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Pure transparent watercolour on Rough watercolour paper.29�49cm
These Murraya blossoms are an Australian native. They are also known as Orange Jasmine, producing the most wonderful scent as they blossom many times during the year.
They are a favourite painting subject of mine. I love how the flowers face in all directions, with each petal curling and/or overlapping the others, creating interesting shadows and light effects. The pure white of the blossoms against the dark, waxy leaves is also another artistic draw-card for me!
